Season of Storms kind of sucked but I still liked it. If it's even as good as Season of Storms I'll enjoy it. Sapkowski doesn't need to write anything to "cash in." People keep coming to him to give him a shitton of money so that they can do all the work to make adaptations. At this point, any writing he does is purely because he feels like Sapkowski's writing is good, but if his idea was to have Ciri be a manifestation of evil then I think he failed. That wasn't at all what Geralt and Ciri's descent represented (to me). This seems fake though because it explicitly stated that Geralt died when I thought Sapkowski's intention was to leave it up to the reader's philosophy to figure I am still enjoying Sapkowski’s writing and have a feel for the characters, there is just a lot of potential here with not much happening so far. I am really hoping Baptism of Fire picks up the pace and progresses the story and hopefully will end with a big SHOCKER or something like that. Still not a bad person. It is what it is. Writing is an act of creation and it’s like being jilted by your child when he grows up. I don’t agree or disagree with either side in this, as it’s not my business. I love his books. I hope to love the Netflix series. I respect the man as an artist. Sapkowski then said that the next book in the Witcher universe could “take a year, but no longer” to finish. Geralt fans who are mourning the loss of Henry Cavill as the White Wolf in the Andrzej Sapkowski’s world of Witcher consists of all and any fantasy trope that ever existed, and features some of the most complex characters and plot lines you’ll ever come across. Its such a huge original world that a lot can be extracted from it if adapted well, for example, over 300 hours of gameplay in Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt. Claiming Sapkwoski is a better writer than Martin'd be like someone who likes the first Witcher game the most out of the series saying it's a better game than The Witcher 3. It's just not, no matter how much you prefer it or why that is. 4. unsafeideas • 11 days ago. Imo, Sapkowsky has better humor. 2. Andrzej Sapkowski in an interview with Waldemar Czerniszewski, 1993. WC: Mr. Andrzej, the adventure with ''The Witcher'' started in 1985 with you sending the short story to ''Fantastyka's'' (the most famous Polish fantasy magazine – translator's note) literary contest. How was ''The Witcher'' created – was it written specifically for the vAygQQ.
